"Monty" Russia - a nice fruity wine with bright acidity in the rich taste and complex berry flavor. For the first time the wine was produced in 2004. To create it using grapes Barbera, which was collected in October from eight years of vines. The vineyards are located in the scenic hills of Monferrato at an altitude of 300-320 meters above sea level. The exposition area - Southwest, planting density - 4,200 vines per hectare of soil - clay and limestone. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel containers, and lasts two weeks. After malolactic fermentation the wine is aged for 4 months in part in steel tanks (80%), partly - in oak barriques (20%). Wine storage capacity is 3 years.
"Villa Sparina" is located in Monterotondo - a small village in the community of Gavi. Winemaking here dates back to the XVII century: when the village was surrounded by vineyards, where there was a wine cellar, as well as the house, which belonged to a noble family from Genoa. This family does not abandon those winemakers who worked nearby. Today, this tradition continues - the village is visited by tourists and admirers of ancient traditions of Italian winemaking.
