Wine Millaman, Merlot, 2011
Reviews of purchase Millaman, Merlot, 2011
Wine red ruby color.
Taste wine beautiful, bright, soft, beverages, with a smooth texture and distinctive tones of red berries and ripe plums.
The charming bouquet of wine infused tones of ripe red fruits and spices.
Wine is an excellent aperitif. Perfectly compatible with a wide range of dishes - especially with stew, pasta, based on beef and tomatoes. Recommended to decant the wine an hour before serving.
The wine is made from Merlot harvest from the vineyards of Curico Valley, which is the best suited for growing vines: due to the large amount of sun, cool breezes from the Pacific Ocean, mitigating high temperatures, as well as the mountain range of the Andes, which provides natural protection. Curico Valley is one of the oldest and most prestigious wine regions of Chile. It was here, on the banks of the river Mataquito River, in the heart of the district, at the end of the XIX century there were first built winery Millaman (translated from the ancient language of the indigenous peoples who inhabited the valley of Curico, which means "Golden Eagle"). Vineyards planted many years ago (some vines around 70 years), have excellent potential and provide the ability to produce a wide variety of wines. In 1999 the estate was completely renovated and equipped with the latest equipment winery, making quality wines Millaman become even better and, thanks to the skillful combination of tradition and innovation, it has achieved the greatest success and well-deserved fame throughout the world.
