Producer's description
The Mazzolada estate is the passion and devotion of people who have worked there for many years. The farmstead extends to 126 hectares, of which 91 hectares are allotted for vineyards.
Vines in the area between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea existed already in 300 BC. e. during the reign of the Roman Empire. As evidence, there are Roman documents relating to 131 BC. e., describing the cultivation of the vine in the area of Julia Concordia (now called "Concordia Streltsaria", which includes the estate of Mazzolada). The Genovese family, which acquired the Mazzolada farm in 1985, inherits traditions and ancient culture.
Offices, laboratories and a cellar are located in the city of Portogruaro. The estate is open to visitors. The company has developed its own projects for all stages of grapes processing, from mechanical harvesting at night to various stages of soft pressing, decantation and fermentation. The plant uses the latest technology and modern equipment, which guarantees the best conditions for the production of high-quality wines. The production capacity is 1,000,000 bottles a year.
