Reviews of purchase Mas Martinet, "Cami Pesseroles", Priorat DOQ, 2016
Taste wine elegant, fresh, with excellent acidity, fine tannins, notes of black currant, blueberry and lingering finish with hints of juicy minerals and spices.
Bright aroma of the wine is filled with lots of notes of black fruit and berries (blackberries, cherries Morello), the nuances of resin and oil shale.
Wine matches perfectly with game, red meat on the grill, roast and stew, as well as with mature cheeses.
Elegant wine "Cami Pesseroles" made from two grape varieties planted at an altitude of 300-400 meters above sea level: Garnacha Tinta and collected with 100-year-old vines Cariñena varieties. The berries are harvested by hand, carefully selecting and then fermented in large oak casks. After fermentation, the wine is aged 18 months in oak French barrels, 20% of which - the new, and then bottled. The wine received its name in honor of the valley in which is located the farm with vineyards. Slate soil vineyards wine filled with light mineral notes. Vintage 2010 is recommended to use in the period from 2015 to 2030.
