Reviews of purchase Markus Molitor, Pinot Blanc "Wehlener Klosterberg*", 2013
The wine is a beautiful straw color.
The wine buttery, creamy taste, reminiscent of apple strudel, with generous notes of baked fruit and spices.
The aroma of wine is bright, full-bodied, fruity with hints of peat, mocha and sweet nougat.
Wine can be submitted to the dishes of sea fish, poultry, seafood and vegetables.
Markus Molitor, "Pinot Blanc" Wehlener Klosterberg * - very nice wine with a soft as velvet, structure, generous taste and rich aroma. Vineyard called Velener Klosterberg, it is in the central part of the winery, on the steep, rocky slopes. The soil here contains significant amounts of iron impurities, so the wines have a mineral nuance in taste. Manufactured wine from Pinot Blanc, each berry which has been collected by one and carefully sorted by hand.
Harvest was collected from 15 sites that are treated only manually. Specialists of the company carried out a careful selection of berries in several stages. Particular attention is paid to the time when it is necessary to carry out the harvest, because it affects the quality of the wines. Berries should reach optimum maturity, despite the autumn frost and rain.
