Tasting Notes
Wine of pale yellow color with golden shimmer.
The wine has a full-bodied, soft, well-balanced taste with excellent acidity.
The wine has a wonderful aroma of pineapple, peach, cream and citrus.
The wine is excellent with seafood, grilled fish, cold meats, chicken, Italian snacks.
Interesting Facts
The wines produced in the Campania (namely in the sub-region Irpinia) are considered the best in their region. They can compete with the best wines of the world through the use of local grape varieties, the oldest of which is considered Greco, brought into the country for more than two millennia ago. Terredory vineyards located on hilly windy area that is exposed to the splendid climate, the soil is composed of calcium formations. Harvested by hand in a small basket and the time interval separating the grapes from the crests and pressure is minimized.
In 2005, the Loggia della Serra, Greco di Tufo DOCG was awarded the Bronze Medal Decanter, Bronze Medal Internationa Wine Challengel. Seal of approval - International Wine Challenge. Loggia della Serra Greco di Tufo, 2005 included in the "Top 100" leading American magazine Wine Spectator.
