Reviews of purchase Leo Hillinger, Gelber Muskateller, 2018
Wine rich ruby color.
The taste of wine is rich, generous, harmonious, refined, piquant, with notes of ripe cherries, strawberries, Sicilian orange and marzipan, silky tannins and a long, sweet aftertaste.
The refined, intense, generous aroma of the wine has a classic varietal bouquet with notes of ripe red fruits and berries. Shades of marzipan add a special piquancy.
The wine is harmonious as an aperitif, as well as with traditional Austrian cuisine, veal, grilled meat and soft cheeses.
Dry red wine Sutter, Blauer Burgunder Ried Muhlweg is made from Pinot Noir (Blauburgunder) grapes, which are grown in the company's vineyards in Lower Austria. Harvesting is carried out when the berries reach the optimum level of ripeness. Berries are carefully sorted and squeezed. The wort is subjected to classical fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature with the addition of selected yeast. The wine is aged in large old Austrian oak barrels for two years. The wine is harmonious as an aperitif, as well as with traditional Austrian cuisine, veal, grilled meat and soft cheeses. The potential of wine is 10 years.
