Castellani is a family winery founded in 1903 in Italy. Since then, the economy has undergone many innovative changes and significant stages of development. Today, the estate's vineyard area totals more than 250 hectares of land in the most prestigious areas of Chianti Classico, Tuscany and the Pisa Hills. Wineries have been built in each region, which allows the harvest to be processed as quickly as possible, preserving the integrity of the berries, avoiding transportation. The company has a very developed internal infrastructure. Its own laboratory, equipped with the latest equipment, which in turn controls the work of another 360 oenological laboratories. The production is also equipped with three modern bottling lines of the highest level, allowing for the most efficient use of working time. Bottles of wine are sealed with a cork stopper, which is constantly subjected to all kinds of technological analyses. At regular intervals, the company, at its discretion, selects a certain number of products and conducts destructive tests to identify and eliminate various possible defects.
Castellani has not used chemical fertilizers, various pesticides and other products harmful to both humans and nature for many years.
