Larressingle is an old family business that was founded in 1837 and is located in the center of southwest France. The founder of the winery was Ippolit Papelorem, for five generations his descendants have been developing his business. The castle and the surrounding land were purchased by the founder's son, Gabriel. He was so carried away by the deed of his father that he did his best to make his father's business prosper. At that time, this drink was usually sold only for bottling, and Gabriel became one of the first to bottle it.
To date, the annual production of Armagnac Larressingle is 500-800 thousand bottles, of which more than 65% are exported.
