The wine is an intense ruby red color with garnet.
The wine is dry, expressive, harmonious taste, velvety texture emphasizing the notes of ripe red fruit and tannic touches. Long finish decorated with nuances of spices.
Seductive, spicy aroma of the wine reveals fruity notes, juiciness of which emphasize the nuances of thyme, lavender and spice touches.
The wine is best served with red meat, venison and grilled vegetables, pates and mature cheeses.
Refined red wine La Gerla, "Riserva gli Angeli" Brunello di Montalcino DOCG has a rich taste with tannin texture and elegant spicy aroma. To create Sangiovese harvested in one of the best vineyards of the economy "Angeli", on the site which once housed a dovecote. Harvest was subjected to soft pressing and fermentation at a controlled temperature. For aging the wine is placed in barrels of Slavonian oak for 5 years, which explains the status of the "riserva" (vintage wine). Before we go on sale La Jaelre, "Riserva Li Andzheli" Brunello di Montalcino is further aged in bottles 12 months.
Sergio Rossi died in July 2011, but his attention to detail and quality, thanks to which La Jaelre wine acquired its own unique character, still serves as a reference and is the foundation of the company's philosophy, which took over the management of his wife Donatella Monforte. It is supported by a team of professionals who worked with her husband for many years and a lot of effort to take its rightful place among the winemakers of Tuscany. Therefore, the wines can be felt not only shades of berries and spices, but also warm the souls of people who participated in their creation.
