Reviews of purchase La Chapelle de Potensac Medoc AOC, 2006
The wine is dark ruby color.
Dense and rich, with sweet tannin, low acidity and supple character of the wine.
Wine with the aroma of ripe berries, minerals and light notes of earth.
Wine is perfect for meats and cheeses.
La Chapelle de Potansak - the second wine of the estate Chateau Potansak, and although it is not as famous as his older brother, nevertheless La Chapelle often gets good grades from critics.
Originally belonged to the family of Chateau Potansak LICARD, but it passed into the possession of the family after marriage Fields Delon Delon and daughter LICARD. It is worth mentioning that the name Delon much better known in the wine world. They also owns Chateau La Levil Kas St. Julien and Château Nenin in Pomerol. At Chateau Potansak produced two wines - Cru Bourgeois and La Chapelle de Potansak. This land is famous for its variety of local soil, and hence the varieties grown grapes here. Chateau Potansak in the production of wine should be very strict traditions of the Medoc, and the wine Château Potansak Cru Bourgeois has a very high potential for exposure. The average age of the vines is about 30 years, the wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Carmenere.
