Wine of deep purple.
The taste of wine is clean, fruity, fresh, elegant, delicate, silky tannins, mineral notes, excellent balance and long finish.
The wine has a concentrated aroma with hints of black currant, wild berries, cherries, notes of herbs and espresso.
Wine harmonizes with red meat, lamb, steak, poultry, oily fish and mature cheeses.
Grapes for wine "Reserva" Syrah is grown in the vineyard in Colchagua Valley. The grapes are harvested at optimum maturity level and sent to the sorting, for wine using the best and healthy clusters. Then vine leaves in the vessel, where it undergoes cold maceration. Fermentation temperature 24-26ºS lasts two weeks. 60% 12 months mature wines in oak casks, 40% - in containers made of steel, in order to preserve the bright flavor and other characteristics of the grapes. Before bottling the wine undergoes a light filtration.
Wine "Reserve" Syrah - very fruity, with mineral notes, which contributes to its elegance and freshness, and a long finale, featuring beautiful terroir of the vineyard. Vintage 2010 won the bronze medal at the competition "International Wine Challenge" in 2012.
Koyle - a new project Undurraga family, whose roots date back to 1885. In 2006, the brand sold Undurraga and vineyards, but they were not willing to give up wine. Alfonso Undurraga with his sons began to look for new terroir for growing grapes for the production of high-quality red wines. After traveling and analysis of the various sectors and valleys of Chile, they stopped at Los Lingues in Colchagua Valley. Climatic and soil characteristics of the terroir were key factors in finding the optimal location for the cultivation of vines. My lovely house with vineyard they called Koyle, in honor of the beautiful, endangered, indigenous plants. In 2006-2007, Alfonso and his sons planted 50 hectares of grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Malbec, Carmenere, Tempranillo, Petit Verdot and Murveder, and in 2010 another 30 hectares with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Grenache, Sangiovese and Carignano.
Coyle vineyards are located in the highest point of the Andes, their soils consist mainly of poor stony soils based on clay, which are cooled by mountain winds. Vintage vinified in small batches for better extraction of aromas and flavors, and then pass the wine aged in French oak barrels. The company's commitment - to produce wines with the right balance between the European restraint and bright fruitiness Chilean grapes. The current owner is a gifted winemaker in the fifth generation with the same passion as his ancestors, creates some of the best Chilean wines.
