Reviews of purchase John Duval, "Eligo", 2013
The wine has a dark red color with a purple hue.
Taste wine - rich, complex, shows excellent concentration tones of black fruit, spice and cedar. Elegant tannic structure, rich fruit palette, continues in a long and bright finish.
Intense bouquet of wine charms aromas of blackberries and blueberries, which are particularly juicy colors stand out against the dark chocolate and licorice.
The wine will be a perfect match for meats, grilled meat and game. Be sure to try it with seasoned cheese, in order to fully appreciate the skill of winemakers.
Wine "Eligo" made from Shiraz grapes harvested from sites in the Barossa Valley. The wine is aged for 20 months in barrels made of French oak. Such prolonged exposure awarded dense and at the same time, elegant wine "Eligius" power, rich texture and long finish.
