Wine Johannes Zillinger, "Numen" Gruner Veltliner, 2013
Reviews of purchase Johannes Zillinger, "Numen" Gruner Veltliner, 2013
The wine is straw-yellow with a greenish tinge.
The wine has a multi-layered, intense, rich taste, in which the shades of ripe fruits, floral touches and elegant mineral accents, stand out against the background of a rather dense texture. The aftertaste is long, bright, with refined nuances of spices.
Spicy, seductive and rich aroma of wine is full of fruit notes, hints of dried apricots and figs and expressive mineral halftones.
The wine is ideally combined with dishes from meat, boiled beef, chicken with spinach, as well as fish dishes and seafood.
"Numen" Gruner Veltliner is a white dry wine created by a biodynamic method with minimal interference from the winemakers. The main idea of the creators was to demonstrate the richness of nature and fully realize the potential of the "old vines". A characteristic feature of the whole series of "Numen" in the natural expressiveness of wine.
To create wine "Noumen" Grüner Veltliner used vines, the age of which is 55-60 years. Hand-picked berries are subjected to spontaneous fermentation for 7-10 days and subsequent delicate pressing. Further, the wort is fermented and aged on a natural sediment for 16 months in steel tanks. Before bottling wine is not filtered. The wine shows exquisite character and expressive mineral taste, and its aroma is dominated by spicy shades and nuances of dried fruits.
