The eccentric, charismatic, obsessive and messianic Anselme Selosse is one of the greatest winemakers of Champagne. He creates delicious blends that can conquer even the most sophisticated connoisseurs of sparkling wines.
The philosophy of Jacques Selosse home is that each blend is unique and can only be created in a limited edition. Completely abandoning the malolactic fermentation, Anselm was able to achieve the originality of its products through the use of a small Burgundy casks purchased from such wineries as Domaine Leflaive. Jacques Seloss, Anselm's father, in 1949 with his wife, founded the winery. Area vineyards of 7.5 hectares, are located in appellasone Avize.
On the territory of Jacques Selosse is a hotel and restaurant. Anselm says: "Our house - the perfect place to feel the charm of these places to drink and, perhaps, the best champagne."
