After buying the names of the owners were broken new vineyards and cellars expanded. Manor "Isole e Olena" is located in the western part of the Chianti Classico region, north of the village of Castellina. 49 hectares of vineyards spread at an altitude of 350-450 meters above sea level, mainly on rocky and clay-calcareous soils. Near the vineyards grow old olive trees of the crop from which the magnificent olive oil "Isole e Olena". Since 1976, the estate managed by Paolo De Marchi - experienced in the fourth generation winemaker who knows all the tricks and processes. In the early 1980s worked in the Experimental Institute of Enology of Asti in Piedmont.
