"Koor" White - dry white wine made from grapes Voskehat. This autochthonous Armenian variety has a long history. Voskehat, whose name means "golden grain", is considered the queen of the Armenian grapes. This variety with small berries of golden color with a relatively fine sandpaper won the people's love for the rich and very rich aromatic bouquet.
wine name is a tribute to the Armenian river and wine trading skills. On the wine label depicts a scene from the book of the Greek historian Herodotus "History" (Chapter 194). It illustrates how the Armenian merchants traveled from Armenia to Babylon on the Euphrates River in boats made of wood and animal skins, with barrels of palm tree filled with wine. These boats were called "chickens" (or "koor").
