Gut Oggau is a small winery located on the shores of Lake Neusiedl in Burgenland. In 2007, the estate acquired Stephanie and Edward Cheppe, and immediately engaged in its revival. Edward, the son of a winemaker, and Stephanie, daughter of a famous restaurateur-owner of two Michelin stars. After harvesting the first harvest, they noticed that each grape variety has its own special character. Edward and Stephanie decided to launch a unique project called "Wines-People", in which each wine would have a personality and a story. Gut Oggau has a Demeter biodynamic certificate, all wines are created under the strict control of Edward and Stephanie. Today, the annual production volume is only 15,000-18,000 bottles.
