Tasting Notes
Straw yellow with pale green highlights.
The taste of the wine is full, rich and fragrant, intense, refreshing, very persistent.
The aroma of the wine opens with notes of passion fruit and prickly pear, which develop in the direction of citrus shades (candied lemon) and floral components (chamomile and dandelion).
The wine can be consumed as an aperitif, it also goes well with appetizers, salads, vegetable dishes, fish (in sauce, stewed), cheeses.

"Gorgona" - a very interesting wine, despite its recent appearance (wine produced from 2012) have already entered in the "TOP 100" best Tuscan wines. Wine is made from grapes Vermentino and Ansoniko, perfectly adapted to the terroir of the island Gorgon - the smallest islands of the Tuscan archipelago. Wine "Gorgon" famous not only for its organoleptic characteristics, but also social significance. Wine "Gorgon" is produced in small batches from the harvest from one small vineyard area of about one hectare in the middle of the amphitheater, protected from strong sea winds. The vineyard apply organic farming methods.
