Reviews of purchase "Glengoyne" 21 Years Old, gift box, 0.7 L
Whiskey deep copper color.
Very rich, smooth taste of whiskey filled with abundant developing notes of sherry, honey, oak, fruit (peach, pineapple, mango), prunes and Christmas cake. The finish is long, spicy, warm, with hints of cinnamon and sherry.
The aroma of whiskey mesmerizing notes of red apple, toffee, sherry strudel with spices.
Whiskey is recommended to use as a digestif, with cigars and coffee.
"Glengoyne" 21 Years Old - exclusive, picturesque old single malt whiskey, very deep and rich, with a delightfully lush palette of fruit, oak and spice notes and a long aftertaste breathtaking. Whiskey made from barley malt, dried in air (for drying peat is never used) by very slow distillation slower than that of any of the manufacturers in Scotland. Then drink grows only in carefully selected barrels of sherry for 21 years.
Luxury "Glengoyne" 21-year-old is the winner of many prestigious competitions, including - the owner of gold medals competitions "International Wine & Spirit Competition, 2013" and "San Francisco World Spirits Competition, 2005".
Glengoyne Distillery is located in a wooded valley, near Glasgow. It was built in 1833. Several times changed owners, and even the name - for some time distillery called "Glen Guin" or "Glen of the Wild Geese". In 1967, the plant was rebuilt, the number of distillation cubes increased from two to three. In the production of whiskey, Glengoyne uses only specially selected malt barley treated with smoke, causing the whiskey usually get enough light. In 2003, the factory was purchased by Ian Macleod Distillers, which is fast enough to give the Glengoyne leading positions, to begin issuing "branded" single malt whiskey, has been praised by experts.
