Reviews of purchase "Glengoyne" 15 Years Old, gift box, 0.7 L
Whiskey bright gold color.
The taste of whiskey bold, rounded, well-balanced, very affordable, with notes of sweet citrus, walnut and cinnamon nuances of toast with honey, vanilla and cream. In a dry aftertaste traced subtle oak nuances.
The aroma of whiskey initial notes of sweet lemon replaced by warm tones of caramel popcorn.
Whiskey is recommended to use as a digestif, with cigars and coffee.
New from Glengoyne - excellent single malt whiskey "Glengoyne" 15 Years Old, has a complex, sweet, rounded flavor with a spicy finish. Like other whiskey Glengoyne range, it is made of golden barley malt, dried using hot air to dry the peat producer never use, thus preserving the rich natural flavor of malt. After a very slow distillation slower than that of any of the manufacturers in Scotland, whiskey is aged in barrels made of carefully selected sherry casks and a small fraction of bourbon for 15 years.
Glengoyne Distillery is located in a wooded valley, near Glasgow. It was built in 1833. Several times changed owners, and even the name - for some time distillery called "Glen Guin" or "Glen of the Wild Geese". In 1967, the plant was rebuilt, the number of distillation cubes increased from two to three. In the production of whiskey, Glengoyne uses only specially selected malt barley treated with smoke, causing the whiskey usually get enough light. In 2003, the factory was purchased by Ian Macleod Distillers, which is fast enough to give the Glengoyne leading positions, to begin issuing "branded" single malt whiskey, has been praised by experts.
