Reviews of purchase Glenfarclas 21 years, In Tube, 0.7 L
Whiskey dark amber golden brown.
The taste of whiskey saturated, rich and rounded, develops slowly, with fruit, smoky and spicy notes. The finish is long whiskey, smooth, with smoky and chocolate tones.
Whiskey with an intense aroma of fruit, nutmeg and almonds at the end of light citrus fruit intertwined with sweet notes of vanilla and smoke.
Whiskey is perfect as a digestif.
Glenfarklas 21 Year Old Speyside whiskey is a classic. It is rich and complex, with an incredibly round and fresh taste, easy to drink. If you love whiskey, matured in barrels of sherry, then you should try this whiskey. Perfect as a digestif, it is in itself "dessert."
Glenfarklas distillery was built in 1836 as part of the farm, which is owned by one John Grant. He put enough good start production, and very soon it became a popular malt whiskey in the area, thanks to its high quality. The name of the distillery in translation from gellskogo language means "Valley of the green grass." The distillery is located at the foot of the mountain Ben Rinnes, which grows on the slopes of heather. It is from sources coming down from the mountain, the distillery provides a clean soft spring water. The secret special bouquet of whiskey Glenfarklas is not only high quality water, but also the use of certain varieties of barley, which grows near in the valley of special yeast, traditional methods of distillation (Glenfarkslas proud of its six largest in Scotland stills) and the duration of exposure in barrels of sherry Fino and Oloroso. Currently, John and his son George are respectively the fifth and sixth generation of the family Grant and continue to improve the art of whiskey production.
