The wine has an intense purple-garnet color.
Rich, full, elegant wine charms juicy notes of dark berries, exotic floral notes, nuances of smoke and spice and velvety tannins highlight the elegance of taste. The finish is subtle, prolonged.

Elegant, flavorful, well-balanced fruit wine "Bishop" called by the name of Judith - the wife of the founder of the winery Colin Gleytsera. The central element of wine labels is a sign of Venus - a symbol of women and feminine energy. In mythology, this symbol stands for the Roman goddess Venus or Aphrodite the Greek. This sign is also associated with Ancient Egypt, as well as symbols on the labels of such wine farm "Gleytser" as "Amen-Ra" and "Anaperenna."
Beautifully structured wine "Bishop" was created from the Shiraz grape variety of the highest quality, grown at two sites in the subregion Ebenezer. Berries collected from 35-year-old vines give the wine freshness and brightness, while collected from 120-year old vines affect the structure and richness of the wine.
Fermentation is carried out in open fermenters with daily 3 single hand dipping cap. Long maceration gives a good development tannins, so the wine is soft and ready to use at a young age. Colin Glazer became more seriously involved in winemaking. Having qualified as an oenologist from Roseworthy College, he gained extensive experience in viticulture and winemaking working in various wineries in Australia, the United Kingdom and Burgundy. In 1985, Colin returned to his homeland and took the position of manager at the Barossa Valley Estate, where, under his leadership, the Ebenezer wine line and the famous E&E Black Pepper Shiraz were born. 10 years later, Colin Glaetzer, along with his wife Judith and three sons, created a family company producing premium wines from the Barossa Valley - Glaetzer Wines .
