Giannitessari winery was founded in 2013 by Gianni Tessari - one of the standard winemakers of Verona, who in his professional career, since the eighties of the XX century, had many successful wines that received international awards. Very young, he helped in family vineyards in Monteforte d'Alpone (Verona province), where only Garganega grapes were cultivated. After graduating from the Agricultural Institute, Gianni devoted himself to working at the winery, experimenting in practice, wanting to discover something new and achieve new goals. In the early 80s, he created with his brother Soave entered the markets around the world. The uncompromising quality of wine opened the doors to world winemaking for Gianni Tessari. Wines Gianni collected prizes and awards of all kinds. He received 14 times "Tre Bicchieri" ("Three glasses") - the highest recognition from the expert "Gambero Rosso".
Today, Gianni Tessari owns a modern winery, covering an area of about 7,000 square meters. meters and producing 350000 bottles of wine annually. The 55 hectares of Jannitessari vineyards are distributed in three DOCs (Roncà, Soave and Sarego). Three different terroirs allow you to create a wide range of wines, united by Gianni's great passion for winemaking.
