Red dry wine Areni Getnatan made of autochthonous grape varieties Areni. Being a late maturing variety, Areni has good resistance to frost, it often happens Armenian cooler winters. This is facilitated by a thick cuticle from the berries of this variety. For the manufacture of wine Areni Getnatan uses only grapes grown in the vineyards in the village Vernashen Vayots Dzor. The climate of Armenia is characterized by hot summers, where hot days give way to cooler nights conducive to the cultivation of grapes to the multi-faceted flavor.
