Reviews of purchase Fritz Walter, Spatburgunder Trocken
The wine is an attractive ruby color of medium intensity.
The wine has a silky, well-balanced taste with lively acidity, fine-grained tannins, hints of ripe berries and a long, seductive finish with wood accents.
The aroma of wine harmoniously intertwines notes of currant and wild berries, framed by the nuances of wood and undergrowth.
The wine is recommended to be served with Mediterranean cuisine, with fried lamb fillet with herb crust, potato gratin and ratatouille.
Fritz Walter, Spatburgunder Trocken - a seductive dry red wine made from Spetburgunder grapes, better known as Pinot Noir. Due to the temperate climate of the region with warm summers and relatively warm winters, wines from Spetburgunder from this area are powerful and rich. Harvesting is carried out when the berries reach the optimum level of ripeness. At the winery, the fruits are subjected to traditional vinification, which takes place at a temperature controlled at each stage of production. Then the wine is aged 12 months in oak barrels.
Spetburgunder Troken will be a great addition to cozy evenings by the fireplace, make an excellent gastronomic couple with Mediterranean dishes, go well with fried lamb fillet with herb crust, potato gratin and ratatouille.
The family-run winery Fritz Walter is located in the heart of the South Palatinate - in the city of Bad Bergzabern. The winery has a rich history, which has more than 180 years. Wine-making traditions began to arise here in the distant 1832. Since 2008, the company has been led by Christina and Eckhard Walter, who are the fifth generation of winemakers. Vineyards cover an area of about 50 hectares and extend to the borders of France. The fundamental goal of the company is the high quality of wines produced and maximum control at all stages of production. A tribute to traditions and many years of experience make it possible to create excellent wines that have already managed to fall in love with consumers, not only at home, but around the world.
In addition to the winery on the estate there is the WeinHotel Fritz Walter, whose restaurant is recommended by the world famous guides Michelin, Gault & Millay and Varta Guide. Guests are invited to take part in many outdoor activities, including hiking and cycling. And the best part is tastings and tours of the vineyards.
