Wine has dark ruby color.
The velvety taste of wine can be traced pleasant sweetness of ripe fruit, smooth tannins harmoniously complement. The finish is long, with notes of cherries, prunes and spices.

Frederic Magnien, Nuits-Saint-Georges "Vieilles Vignes" AOC - biodynamic red wine created from berries Pinot Noir, which grows on old vines in appellasone Nuits-Saint-Georges. Harvesting is carried out manually at the winery the fruit exposed to classical vinification at a controlled temperature.

Frédéric Magnin - representative of the 5th generation family wine Magnien. All his spare time Frederick helped his father in the vineyard and in the cellar. After high school he graduated from high school and wine, to improve their knowledge and gain experience, in 1986, went to the other wine estates of France. In 1992, Frederick went abroad and spent 4 months in California and 6 months in Australia, where winemakers to adopt the experience of other countries. Returning home in 1993, Frederick went to the University of Dijon, where he received a degree in winemaking. In September 1995, he made one of the most important decisions in life - home made wine under his own name, the purpose of which was the production of high quality wines, representing famous terroirs of Burgundy. Frederick selects the best plots, mostly - from vines more than 40 years, and buys grapes of very high quality in the degree of optimum maturity. With a few simple principles (control yield, the degree of grape maturity, slow malolactic fermentation) Frederick creates juicy, full, charming and delicious wines, which occupy a worthy place in the market. Also, Frederick works closely with growers of Burgundy and provides advice to improve the quality of the crop.
Weinhaus Frederic Magnien began with 21 drums and five wines, and by 2011 production amounted to 1,000 barrels and up to 45 different cuvees, each of which offers a well defined terroir.
