Producer's description
Southern Wine Company (YUVK) was founded in 2003, but the land of the Taman Peninsula, where the company's vineyards are located, has been cultivated since antiquity. YuVK produces high quality wines exclusively from its own grapes grown at the farm "Victory". The vineyards are located between the two seas on the Taman Peninsula, where the sun shines 280 days a year, and the berries have time to accumulate a lot of sugar, acid and tannins. Despite the warm, sometimes even arid climate, respect for the terroir led to the fact that the farm completely refused to irrigate the vineyards. It is not used even in the years of the most severe droughts. The growers of the YUVK do not use synthetic fertilizers. In the vineyards are grown both international and autochthonous, unique local grape varieties. The production complex of YuVK is equipped with modern Italian equipment, which, coupled with the high quality of the grapes and the professionalism of the specialists, is the key to the birth of excellent wines, which are recognized both by consumers and professionals, and are marked by a number of high awards at international wine competitions.
