Rooiberg Winery was established on April 14, 1964 and is currently one of the leading companies in South Africa. Rooiberg is a privately held company with 25 shareholders uniting 20 farms in the Robertson Valley. Local geological features give rise to a terroir, contributing to ideal conditions for the cultivation of grapes with a natural and stable water source for the winery.
Vineyards are located in four different areas, each of which has an exceptional terroir, giving the crop unique flavor characteristics. This diversity allows the company to create a rich assortment of wines. Both white (65%) and red (35%) grape varieties are cultivated in the vineyards. The winery is equipped with the most modern equipment and technologies that allow you to process up to 13500 tons of grapes per year. In accordance with many years of tradition, Rooiberg Winery strives to constantly improve the quality of its products, which is confirmed by numerous awards received at various international competitions.
