Interesting Facts
Red wine Finca Viladellops, Garnatxa made from the same grape, which grows on limestone with marine fossils. Crop is harvested by hand in small boxes of 15 kg. Predfermentatsionnaya maceration is carried out at a temperature of 10-12ºC. Fermentation tanks of stainless steel is held under controlled temperature 20-24ºC. After fermentation, the wine remains in these tanks until spring, and in March - butilliruetsya. Vintage 2013 was released in the amount of 30,000 bottles.
Viladellops - a small village in the hills between Vilafranca del Penedès, the capital of the famous wine region, and Sitges, which is lower than on the Mediterranean coast. It was here in 1871 was founded the winery Finca Viladellops. Winemaking has always been a significant part of agriculture Penedes, for whom this has become a significant industry in the second half of the nineteenth century, when wine exports grew.
