Eyguebelle is located in the Drome department, called locally Drome Provence, as it includes the territories of Old Provence. The area itself is located in the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region in the south of France. The history of the enterprise is rooted in the distant past and begins with the Cistercian monastery, in which the monks were engaged in the manufacture of fruit and herbal liqueurs using gifts of local nature. Founded in 1949, modern production in 1996 received secular status, and 10 years later completely left the walls of the abbey.
