Oenological Kollavini family history begins in 1896. Eugenio, the founder of the winery, while supplying their wine to neighboring farms, not even imagining that a century later, it will gain the whole world. In 1970, thanks to innovations in the field of sparkling wines and creating Ribolla Dzhialla - the results are accurate and original research methods - winemaking region gets more glory. In those years, the square named Kollavini were increased acquisition of the old manor house of the XVI century in Kono de Rosazzo, which later became the residence of the family estates and cellars were used to store wine. The oenological history of the Collavini family begins in 1896. Eugenio, the founder of the winery, at that time supplied his wine to neighboring farms, not even imagining that after a century it would conquer the whole world. In 1970, thanks to innovations in the field of sparkling wines and the creation of Ribolla Jalla - the result of precise research and original methods - the winemaking of the region receives additional fame. In those years, the areas of the Collavini estate were enlarged by the acquisition of an old 16th-century manor in Cono de Rosazzo, which later became the residence of the family, and the cellars of the estate were used to store wines. In 1980, all Collavini's activities took place exclusively in this prestigious residence. Today, the company is headed by Manilo Collavini, who puts all his efforts into increasing the diversity of products, developing and better functioning structures, as well as raising quality standards. His sons, Giovanni and Luigi, have also joined the family business and are helping to develop the farm in every way.
