Interesting Facts
Emmolo, Sauvignon Blanc - a dry white wine, focused on minerality than fruit tones in taste and aroma. Not grassy and not too mature, it is distinguished by exquisite fruit notes in aroma and strong mineral nuances, reminiscent of the first summer rain. Grapes are harvested in two family vineyards only after it reaches its optimal parameters - balanced acidity and low alcohol content. At the time of the creation of this wine, Jenny Wagner had only one goal: to convey as much as possible all the features of the Napa Valley terroir.
The weather conditions of 2016 were perfect. Summer pleased with mild temperatures and gentle sunlight. During the harvest, which lasted from mid to late April, it was warm enough. After sorting, the berries are gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. The aging of the wine took place in steel tanks and in old French oak barrels.
