The wine is dark and dense garnet color.
The taste of wine is very voluminous, fresh, dense and concentrated, with velvety tannins and a smooth texture.
The aroma of wine concentrated and complex, with notes of orange blossom and black pepper, which smoothly into the shades of plum, cherry, balsamic, liquorice and very balanced notes of grapes and wood.
Wine is perfect for pies of puff pastry, to paste, various sausages, blends perfectly with grilled meat, beef tenderloin, roast beef and other red meats. Also, it is recommended to use the wine paired with fragrant, seasoned cheese, feta cheese, goat cheese.
Red wine "Duas Quintas" made from traditional Portuguese grape varieties grown in the Upper Douro area, located in two areas - Quinta de Ervamoira and Quinta dos Bons Ares. Thus, the wine incorporates features of both terroirs, achieving an optimal balance in the mature full-bodied taste. 2011 scored low yield due to the very dry winter and hot summer. However, the crop has matured well and had good concentration.
The main difference between "Doische Kintash" 2011 is to increase its share of blended varieties Turiga Franc (35%), Tinta Roriz reduction of the share, Tinta Cao and Susa (up 5%) and adding new varieties (Tinta Barroca and Tinta da Barca (5 %)).
