Wine brilliant, pure dark cherry color with garnet reflections.
Taste wine rich, attractive, with a velvety texture, notes of pomegranate and grape, hints of spice, fine tannins and a long finish.
Intense aroma of wine is filled with tones of quince and plum, complemented by nuances of cinnamon, spice, smoke and undergrowth.
Wine is served to the game, grilled meat and fish, it is recommended to cheese.
"Duas Quintas" Reserva Red - is primarily a reflection of the complex and powerful terroir Upper Douro Valley wineries and elegant style, "Ramos Pinto". When creating a wine was used grapes harvested in two estates - "Bons Ares" and "Ervamoira". Vineyards in these estates are located at different heights above sea level (200 to 600 meters), and the land mainly composed of slate and granite. The berries were manually collected and, depending on the condition, are placed in a steel container or granite press. After passing the careful selection and spin on a vertical press, must have been sent to the malolactic fermentation. Excerpt wine lasted 18 months, with only a small portion of wine was in oak barrels.
Winery "Ramos Pinto" was founded in 1880 by a young 21-year-old artist Adriano Ramos Pinto. Thanks to Adriano and his entrepreneurial innovation strategy, the winery quickly became popular. Adriano chose to promote their drinks and the Brazilian market at the beginning of the twentieth century "Ramos Pinto" exported to South America, half of the wines produced - these were the natural results of a forward strategy of thinking based on the Modernization of the selection, dosing, exposure, packaging and market promotion.
