Port Dow's Late Bottled Vintage, 2009

Dow - one of the oldest and most respected houses for the production of fortified wine. The first bottle of port wine brand "Dow's" was released in 1798. In possession of the Dow includes two vineyard Quinta do Bomfim and Quinta da Senhora da Ribeira, which are considered some of the best vineyards in the region. Also, the grapes for port "Dou'z" deliver another 3 vineyard in the possession of the family Symington. But it own crop farms for more than 50% of the demand for raw materials. In submission Dow has one small and two large winery. They recycle not only raw materials collected from their vineyards, but also purchasing grapes. Dow is famous for its vintage port, which over the years only get better. Over the past 110 years, was released only 28 vintage port.
