Wine "Domini Veneti" Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is made from grapes from the hills of Negrar commune that is located in the heart of the Valpolicella Classico production zone. The vineyard has a south-east exposure and is situated at an altitude of 150-350 meters above sea level. Here, on the alluvial and lime-clay soils, the vines grow on the average age of 20 years. With them manually harvested grapes and podvyalivayut it on straw mats or in special boxes for 4 months according to the method called "appasimento." The fermentation lasts for 30 days in neutral containers. The wine is aged in French barriques for 18 months, then 12 months in bottle. Winery Cantina Valpolicella Negrar was organized in 1933 from several small manufacturers uncompetitive.
