Vineyard Premiers Crus "Le Chaumet" is located on a plateau at the top of the slope, in the southwest of the village of Chassagne-Montrachet. The soil of the vineyard has a huge impact on the grapes grown here. As the vines grow on the top of the slope, it is dominated by limestone soil with a small admixture of clay. Organic farming, good soil drainage, the optimum amount of sunlight and cool enough mesoclimate region created all the conditions for the maturation of high-quality grapes with expressive mineral notes, balanced acidity and great freshness. A slow shutter wine in oak barrels gives the drink a hint of vanilla, sweet spices, oak nuances and toast.
