Wine Chambertin Grand Cru 2001 for his outstanding quality was honored with the masses of praise: "He needs a scepter and a crown: it really is the king-Chambertin. Most importantly, give it time, and all your hopes come true. Currently, the "miracle of nature", as he called Chambertin Gaston Rupnel. Tannins are impressive, but very rounded, pleasant fruitiness and shading. As perfection itself, this wine still carries the - on bilberry background - an imprint of his elevazha (a strong argument in favor of a long wait with him) »(Guide Hachette 2004 - Vin remarquable).
"It's very rich and very powerful. A full-bodied. Several tannins. These tannins are well covered. Excellent grip. Very intense and sustained. The excellent quality of fruit. "A great plus." Drink from 2015 »(Clive Coats MW, The Vine, February 2003).
"Sparkling cherry-cherry color with bluish reflections. Exciting, intense, well-integrated bouquet of black fruits (wild blackberry), flowers (peony), spices and precious wood. Taste purebred, full-bodied, bold, with elegant tannins and oily. The finish is long and fresh. A work of art, which urgently need to stock up! Drink: 2007-2015 »(Guide des Sommeliers 2004 - 20 points out of 20).
