Rango de Tan - the southernmost of the vineyards of Alsace, covering an area of ​​18.8 hectares and leading its history since the XII century. Rango de Tang characterized by volcanic soils with low clay content (15%), which is beneficial to the quality of grapes, and its exceptional exposure allows the grapes to ripen slowly, until November, and achieve a very high degree of concentration. Today Rangen de Thann is on a par with such famous vineyards as Montrachet and Chambertin.
