Reviews of purchase Domaine Michel and Stephane Ogier, Cote-Rotie "Lancement", 2011
Dark ruby color.
Net fruity wines unobtrusively decorated notes of black tea, juniper and iron. Fine acidity and silky tannins combined these elements into a whole. The finish is long, sweet.
Bright shades of cherry fruit, raspberry, blackberry notes enlivened Asian spices, orange and light nuances of tobacco and make a beautiful bouquet of aromatic wine.
The wine is excellent in combination with meats and cheeses.
(Robert M. Parker, "The World's Greatest Wine Estates", 2005).
"Lanseman" Cote Rotie - excellent dry red wine from the best vines, located in the Cote Blonde, which has an outstanding performance. Vinification process involves separating the berries from the crests, a 5-7 day cold maceration before fermentation. Depending on the vintage, the fermentation process takes 20-30 days. After the end of fermentation, the wine is moved to the 225-liter barriques. Wine is not separated from the sediment and decant before the end of malolactic fermentation. Cuvée "Lancement" Cote-Rotie aged about 2 years in oak barrels, 50% new. The wine is bottled without filtration and without clarification.

For example, to date, the area in Cote-Rozier, a crop that produces the best cuvee domain, - "La Belle Helene", is handled entirely without herbicides. Also being monitored constantly yielding vines; if necessary, remove excess bunches (producing so-called "green fee").
