Reviews of purchase Domaine Michel and Stephane Ogier Cote-Rotie 2007, 375 ml
Wine with a stunningly beautiful dark purple, almost opaque color with purple reflections.
The wine has a rich, bold, silky, voluminous taste, harmoniously combining mineral, ripe tannins, fruit, licorice, cedar notes. With a long, spicy finish.
The wine has a luxurious fragrance with fruity - blackberry, black currant, with hints of sweet spices.
The wine is excellent in combination with wild mushrooms - chanterelles, morels and perfectly suitable for beef stew.
(Robert M. Parker, Jr. The World's Greatest Wine Estates, Simon & Schuster, NY, 2005).
