Aloxe-Corton Blanc - a rare wine, the only Aloxe-Corton, created exclusively from Pinot Gris, which in Burgundy are called Pino Beurot. Grapes were collected manually and subjected to fermentation at low temperatures. Matured wine by 30% in new oak barrels and then filtered and bottled. Aloxe-Corton Blanc has an elegant, well-structured taste and subtle aroma.
In 1857, Jules Senart, great-grandfather of the current owner of the domain Comte Senart, became the owner of 6-acre vineyard "Clos Des Meix" in apelasone Corton (Burgundy, Côte d'Or). Eventually he founded winery expanded, and in 1988 they began to manage Philippe Senart who brought the process in wine production method of cold maceration. Today, the philosophy of organic farming professes viticulture, growing grapes without the use of herbicides and insecticides. The combination of clay and limestone soils of Côte d'Or wines Domain provides refined minerality and balanced tannins. Manual harvest whole bunches and manually sorted. The wines are aged in old farm cellars that were built by Benedictine monks and date from the XIII century.
