Bruno Claire - Eau Claire Bernard son and grandson of Joseph Clare - creator of the famous Domaine Clair-Daü (in 1919 Marsannay). In 1979, Bruno founded the domain under his own name, which included sites in Marsannay and Fizine, large plot in Moray-Saint-Denis and vineyard in Savigny-les-Beaune. In 1986, Bruno joined to the possessions of plots relatives who entrusted him with the management of their vineyards, and in 1993-1996, the domain has expanded its ownership to 23 hectares, bought several vineyards (Corton-Charlemagne in, Pernand-Verzheles, Aloxe Corton, Zhevre- Petite Chapelle Chambertin). In the commune of Marsannay Domain Bruno Clair owns about 11 hectares. But, unfortunately, little known wine region Marsannay, they are often overlooked, Bruno himself and his winemaker Philippe Brun complain that the consumer unknowingly overpaid five times, choosing "to appellasonu, not the manufacturer." A appellason Marsannay and is known in narrow circles of experts Burgundy, although the well-structured and fairly tannic wines are one of the best "price-quality" in all of Burgundy, they are able to develop and they should not be too young to drink - it is recommended to wait 4 -8 years. The grapes used in the production of these wines - from old 25-70 year old vines "Le Lonzhrua", followed within a year carefully looked after, plowed soil and add compost (chemical fertilizers are not used), the crop is harvested by hand and only those berries that reached perfect ripeness. All these actions are performed with one goal - to provide excellent strong, dense, fine wines with good color. Bruno Clair paired with the talented winemaker Philippe Brunet create a long line of high quality wines from the "Savigny-les-Beaune - from south to Marsannay at reasonable prices - from the north."
