Reviews of purchase Domaine Bousquet, "Reserve" Pinot Noir, 2016
The wine is purple.
The wine has an elegant, harmonious taste with a well-balanced acidity and expressive notes of spicy cherries in a persistent aftertaste.
The complex aroma of wine is revealed by the expressive tones of ripe cherries, plums, coffee, tobacco and toast.
The wine perfectly combines with red meat (especially lamb), duck, fried sausages and hot snacks.
The elegant Argentine wine Domaine Bousquet, "Reserve" Pinot Noir is made from selected Pinot Noir grape, which grows on gravel and sand in Tupungato, in the foothills of the Andes, at an altitude of 1200 meters above sea level. The unique high-altitude location of the site and cool nights promotes the cultivation of juicy berries with an expressive fresh taste and pleasant acidity. Harvest is collected manually at the peak of maturity and transported to the winery, where it is carefully sorted. Cold maceration is carried out at a temperature of 8 ° C for 72 hours. Fermentation for 15 days is carried out at a temperature of 20 to 25 ° C. The wine ripens in French oak barrels for 10 months.
The winery Domaine Bousquet was founded by the Busquet family. It all started with the acquisition by Jean Busques in 1998 of a land plot in Argentina, at the very foot of the Andes. The total area of the farm is 240 hectares. Vineyards grow on sandy soils, at an altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level in Tupungat, Mendoza. Low rainfall (about 20 cm per year) allows Domaine Bousquet to always control the amount of water supplied to the grapes through the drip irrigation system. Grapes on the winery are collected exclusively by hand. Organic grapes, excellent terroir and ideal weather conditions favorably affect the quality and flavor characteristics of the wines produced. The result is a wine with a well-balanced, elegant, velvety taste, good structure and expressive style.
