Tasting Notes
Wine rich cherry red color.
The taste of wine is powerful, wide, complex, very attractive, with a great balance and a long finish, in which notes of fruit, minerals, dark chocolate, toffee and toast are woven.
The complex aroma of the wine is filled with floral notes, hints of minerals and spices, balsamic tones and nuances of candied black fruit.
The wine goes well with rice, hot, red meat, poultry, game and cheeses.
Interesting Facts
Dehesa del Carrizal, "Seleccion Privada" - the flagship wine Dees del Carrizal, "the best of the best", brought to perfection. The blend of wine consists of four grape varieties planted from 1987 to 1998, each of which is vinified separately and aged in newly selected French oak barrels. Then begins the first assembly of the blend, which is adjusted to achieve the perfect balance. The final assembly ripens from 12 to 22 months. After tasting, only the best selected winners are allowed to bottling, because "Private Selection" is committed to the highest wine in the world.
Vintage 2014 won silver medals on "Premios CINVE", "Concours Mundial de Bruxelles" and "Bacchus" in 2018.

Winery Dehesa del Carrizal is located in Montes de Toledo, near the National Park "Cabanieros", between the basins of the rivers Tahoe and Guadiana. Dehesa del Carrizal produces highly qualified wines "Vino de Pago", as stipulated by Spanish law. This protected designation of origin is assigned to only 15 Spanish wineries. The uniqueness of the enclave, soil and climate of the vineyards of Dehesa del Carrizal allows to produce exceptional wines from local and international grape varieties. All work on the farm is carried out with strict quality control. Over the years, the company's vineyards give all the best and best results, and winemakers rely on responsible winemaking.
