Interesting Facts
Dry white wine "Coto Mayor" Blanco, Rioja DOCa created from Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Berries are grown on high-mountainous (840 meters above sea level) sites located in Carbonera. After a short-term "cold" maceration, the grapes are carefully pressed in a low-temperature mode. The resulting must is protected from oxidation with dry ice. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in small steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16 ° C. Upon completion of the alcoholic fermentation, the wine remains in the same tankers for ripening on a cleaned sediment, which lasts a month and contributes to the smoothness of the wine body. Different vintages of this wine were awarded gold and silver medals at local competitions, such as "Premio Baco Cosecha" and "Bacchus".
