Wine Cotes du Rhone Cuvee des Capucines AOC 2008 is made from grapes Grenache and Syrah, grown in the vineyards of Cotes du Rhone. Wine is not aged in oak barrels. Cotes du Rhone Cuvee de Kapusin - a wine with a strong structure and bright individual character.
In 1978, Jean-Claude Boucher, oenologist with skills that he inherited from several generations of winemakers, founded Domaine Du Vieux Chene. The winery is located in the north of the department of Vaucluse, near the historic village of Kamari. In 1990, to Jean-Claude joined by his wife, Beatrice, now the two of them run the family farm area of about 50 hectares. Grape varieties Grenache Shiraz and grown in the vineyards of Cotes du Rhone, which are located in the southern part of the valley of the Rhone, between the river and the foot of the mountains, where they create a delightful landscape with sunlit fields and plains. In this region offers ideal conditions for growing fine grapes, vineyards all farms are processed organically, so that organic wines are produced with excellent character. The grapes are harvested by hand, which guarantees high quality. Jean-Claude Boucher and his wife use traditional methods of fermentation: the natural temperature, without the use of yeast.
