The farm Domaines Paul Mas was founded in the Herault Valley in Languedoc by a man named Auguste Mas. At first, the family had only 22 hectares of land planted with vines. In the future, the property expanded significantly due to the acquisition of land in Montpellier and Pezenas, after which the farm already owned 440 hectares of land, on which they planted 25 grape varieties, mainly Chardonnay, Viognier, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Merlot. Since 1987, the reigns of this successful farm have passed to Paul Mas, who did business with his descendants Jean-Claude and Michel. The last purchase of Paul was the farm "Domain de Martinolles," which occupies 50 hectares of land.
