The wine shows a rich red color with purple highlights.
The taste of wine is enveloping, powerful, but at the same time sophisticated and elegant. It is dominated by notes of ripe berries and fruits against a background of balanced acidity. A lively, fresh chord with a distinct personality. A long, silky finish.
Intense aroma of the wine reveals halftones of ripe fruit, touches of berries, currants and blackberries. And the hints of tobacco, undergrowth and subtle touches of burnt oak accentuate the bouquet.
Wine is recommended to be served with red meat dishes, fried fish, game stew, grilled vegetables.

"Cosme Palacio" - one of the very first projects of the winery Bodegas Palacio 1894, proudly bearing the name of its founder - Cosme Palacio. Having chosen the production of high-quality Spanish wines as its priority, the farm successfully implements its plans by exporting its products to foreign markets and introducing all connoisseurs of the gourmet drink to the rich terroir of their native Rioja.
"Cosme Palacio" Vinedos Viejos Reserva, Rioja DOCa - an exquisite Tempranillo wine grown in the Rioja region. After harvesting the berries are subjected to prolonged maceration in stainless steel tanks with regular immersion of the "caps" in the wort. This procedure is carried out to maximize the extraction of aroma and color from the skin of grapes. Malolactic fermentation takes place in new French oak barrels, which provides the future wine with a smooth, pleasant texture and hints of spices in the taste and aroma range.
Aging Cosme Palacio Vignedos Viejos Reserva carried out in the new 225-liter barrels of their French oak. In addition, justifying its name, the wine is aged additionally in a bottle for 28 months before it goes on sale.
